Classes and Workshops
Classes: We offer classes in the copper foil technique
of stained glass at two levels.
Level One: An introduction to the making of flat panel
designs. You are taught the basic elements of doing the craft. Currently it
is a one night per week for six weeks with each night running from 6:30 to
9:30
Level Two: This series of classes is for those who have some knowledge
and experience in glass work.
It centres on the making of three dimensional items such as lamps,
terrariums, jewelry boxes etc., as well as for those who want to do more
involved flat panels and feel that they may need some assistance
Late Fall Classes: Level One - When: Tuesday nights
Start: January 12th
Duration: 6 Weeks
Time: 6:30 to 9:30
Cost: $70.00 for instruction
Approx. $70.00 for materials
Level Two - None are scheduled at this time, will depend
on demand.

Work Shops: Our workshops center around glass fusing, that is the
layering of glass of the students choice and design and then firing in a kiln,
which is done by us.
The type of items that are able to be done are: bowls, plates, candle
holders, panels ,jewelry, spoon rests, mirrors, clocks, and much
more. This is far less involved and time consuming then the conventional
stained glass work. Workshops are done at the customers convenience,
either as an individual or as a group.
Great for birthday parties or get togethers. The time to do a workshop
varies on the number and size of items . 1 to 3 hours is usually sufficient.
Cost is based on materials and firing time. It is best to drop into our
location for more info and to see finished pieces.
